Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly forced to give away cricket tickets after aggravating an old toe injury from the action film Don 2.
The actor was shooting an advertisement when he accidentally stepped on the offending toe, according to Mid Day.
A source told the site: "A doctor was called on the set, ice packs and cold compresses were administered and painkillers given. Khan completed the shoot and left.
"Though his toe had healed since then, he decided not to watch the match at the stadium. He didn't want to take a chance."
Don 2: The Chase Begins is the follow-up to the original 2006 movie, which stars Khan as an elusive criminal gang member who holds the key to breaking up a huge international drug operation.
