Aryan and Suhana, children of superstar Shah Rukh Khan have won gold at the 6th Open National Taekwondo competition held in Mumbai.
The competition for juniors and sub-juniors was organised on Monday by the Maharashtra Taekwondo Academy.
The actor and wife Gauri were at the Sachivalay Gymkhana in South Mumbai to cheer the children.
The proud father tweeted, "son & daughter won gold in Taekwondo Nationals. suhana was like a newcomer (aggressive)...Aryan fought like a thespian (technical)."
The actor-producer was presented with a honorary belt in Taekwondo by the South Korean government last year.
Speaking to reporters after the competition on Monday, the actor stressed the need for encouraging such sports among children.
