SRK turns singer

Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a cameo in the film — Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu.

What's even more interesting is the fact that he has sung a song in the film. This is the second time the actor has taken to singing. The first song he sang was Apun Bola for the film Josh. Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu is directed by Makrand Deshpande. The film has a relatively different story line from the usual potboilers. It is about a girl who sells flowers on the road to make money for her family.  She is a Shah Rukh Khan fan and believes that at some point of time in life, she will meet him and act with him. One day, she hears a person asking for some flowers. She goes over and finds her idol Shah Rukh sitting over there. She faints with excitement till Shah Rukh grabs her and says khoobsurat hai tu (you are beautiful). Excited, she tells everyone about the incident but nobody believes her. She decides to prove it to them some day. Shah Rukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu stars Kay Kay Menon, Preetika Chawla, Afzal Khan and Nagesh Bhosle in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on November 19 and will be clashing with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, at the box office.
