SRK to wow Chinese viewers

After conquering hearts world over, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to wow the chinese viewers with My Name Is Khan.

The event will make history as this would be the first Indian film to release in China after 30 years.

Karan Johar confirmed to Mumbai Mirror, "It's an honour especially since China allows only the release of 20 foreign films a year. I can't remember when was the last time an Indian film was released there."

SRKAfter being granted this honour, Karan Johar and his team have already started prepartions for the premiere in Beijing.

Vijay Singh CEO of Fox-Star revealed, "The Chinese authorities are really hard on foreign films. To be asked to release Khan is an amazing honour," reports Mumbai Mirror.

Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is known as the baadshah of Bollywood and he owns a huge fan base all over the world. This time, Chinese people seem to be impressed by SRK's charisma. Buzz has it that Shah Rukh's 'My Name Is Khan' is scheduled for the premiere in China.

According to the reports, China has not seen release of any Indian movie from the last thirty years. The premiere of 'My Name Is Khan' is tentatively slated for November 30 in Beijing.

After getting the invite, Shah Rukh and Karan Johar, director and co-producer of 'My Name Is Khan', seem to be on cloud nine. SRK and Karan are busy with the preparations to create history with the premiere of their film in Beijing. Karan is already deciding about Shah Rukh's clothes for the premiere. Reportedly, the dresses will depict a mix of ethnic Indian wear with a typical Chinese style.

When contacted by a news daily, an elated Karan Johar said, "It's an honour especially since China allows only the release of 20 foreign films a year. I can't remember when was the last time an Indian film was released there. We must have done something right this time, no?"

Shah Rukh is currently shooing for Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 2' in Berlin. He will be going to China directly from there for the premiere of his much talked about movie 'My Name Is Khan'.
