While comparing both movie 3 Idiots vs My Name is Khan, MY Name is Khan leaves 3 Idiots behind in UK but overall collection in the first week for MNIK is less than 3 Idiots.
My Name is Khan has a superb opening in Britain and it has already grossed more than 936, 000 pounds since its release 12th February.
The main problem with My Name is Khan is that it has good message and would make you cry, but not that entertaining like 3 Idiots.
So My Name is Khan had a good impression on people outside India, but Aamir grabbed the full attention of youth in India.
