Shah Rukh refreshes his childhood memories at the tragic place Mangalore

May 22 marked the day of grief and pain when the AIR India flight from Dubai crashed at Mangalore airport where more than 150 people lost their lives. The Bollywood stars display condolence for the victims and their family and friends. Shah Rukh Khan shared his thoughts on this tragic accident and revealed his connection with Mangalore.

SRK tweeted on his blog, "It's awful when lives end so suddenly. Prayers for the families whose loved ones passed away in the plane crash."

"Evil and tragedies were made by God because only in the face of them our nobler (sic) thoughts crop up. Realization of mortality makes us good," added SRK.

Unveiling his childhood memories with the place, Shah Rukh added, "I was brought up in Mangalore. My grandfather was the engineer in chief for the Mangalore port. All my childhood pics are taken there."
