Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Tamil character actor Prakash Raj are front runners for the best actor award while Aamir Khan
for the best director for his 'Taare Zameen Par' in national film awards for 2007 which are likely to be announced on Monday.
While Shah Rukh is in race for his role in "Chak de India" Prakash Raj is a strong contender for his performance in "Kanchivaram directed by Priyadarshan.
"Chak de India" is also a strong contender for the best film providing wholesome entertainment.
